For the preparation of these delicious Christmas cookies you will need:
– 300 g flour
– 200 g butter
– 100 g sugar
– 10 crushed hazelnuts
– 3 tablespoons milk
– 1 paket vanilla sugar
– 1 tsbp cinnamon
– 1 tsbp orange zest
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and knead a dough. Leave it to cool in the refrigerator. Roll out the dough and using a cookie cutter in the shape of a snowflake cut out cookies and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

– 270 g flour
– 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
– 190 g sugar
– 230 g butter
– 1 egg
– 100 g of crushed walnuts
– 1 tsbp rum
– 5 tsbp water
– powdered sugar
Allow the dough to cool in the refrigerator, then roll out to a thickness of 5 mm, cut cookies with desired shape. Make a hole in the center of each cookie . Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit). When the cookies cool, cover them with a mixture of rum and water (1 tablespoon rum and 5 tablespoons water) and roll in powdered sugar. Allow sugar to dry. Thread on a wire to make a wreath.

You need:
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 heaped tablespoon gingerbread spice
1 heaped tablespoon butter
1 egg
1/2 cup honey
1. In a saucepan melt the honey and butter. Put off the heat and after a while, add the baking soda and gingerbread spice.
2. Beat gently the egg and add it to the honey mixture.
3. Sift the flour, pour in the honey mixture and knead the dough. Sprinkle the surface with flour if it is sticky.
4. Split the dough in parts and roll out to a thickness of several millimeters. Cut out your gingerbread men. Make two holes in each gingerbread men so that you can later thread the ribbon. Place on a floured baking sheet. They can be brushed also with egg to a nice shine.
