Welcome to all our new members. There is so much talent!! And so many good ideas to inspire us all, ready for our Christmas gift projects. Thank you for joining and sharing your wonderful work. If anyone would like to set up a swap, pm me with your ideas.

Group Description

With Christmas around the corner, I thought it would be good to share ideas about handcrafted presents, whether they are artwork of some description, like Christmas / New Year cards, or craftwork, like pin cushions, lavender sachets, toys etc. As I am always looking for ideas, I would prefer it if folk post ideas or work that they don't mind being duplicated. However, please don't copy something outright, and please ask the owner permission first to use their pattern or a similar design.

All art and craft techiques welcome, and photographers too if you are making things like frames etc.

Group Rules

Please keep to these rules and then we will hopefully have a happy group :)

Please be friendly and polite and remember children will be reading this too.
Absolutely NO porn, nudity or swearing.
No inappropriate or distateful images
Please comment on at least one members work, preferably more, as we all need feedback and like cheery comments.
You may post up to five pictures a day.

My mom had us make fresh colored-paper chains every year.
They were SO hideous, but I guess making them kept us busy and relatively quiet during long winter days!
She also would give us the bottle of window cleaner and some sponges, and have us do "fake frost" on the windows (Glass wax, or something?)
